Winter blues
Winter, it is time to go away. The only good thing about the season is for those who like to play winter associated sports (snowboarding, skiing). Aside from a good snowball to the head, this time of year can cause the “winter blues.”
Many people become depressed when it comes to this dreadful season. Every time you go outside there is either a slushy mess from the snow or dirty puddles to avoid. Even though we hate our lives now, there are many things to do while waiting for spring to arrive.
For one, we most definitely need to start planning for spring and summer, so we look good in all of our outfits. Do a small workout every day to get your blood flowing and to start feeling good. Eating healthy will help you look good, and feeling good has to do with looking good.
While you’re inside it would be a good idea to set aside an extra hour a day to study, instead of sitting on some social networking site.
Another option after a hard day’s work is to snuggle up with a cup of hot chocolate, (with whipped cream and marshmallows, of course) and watch your favorite movie.
Being jobless, it seems like a good idea to try and save money, because we all know how we end up spending a lot more cash in the summer to party.
Even though it’s our least favorite season we must all bear through it and think of this as a time to catch up on extra sleep and just enjoy being inside. Warm weather will be here soon enough and these mid-winter blues will fade away.
